1. Who We Are

Kiteza is operated by Kiteza, acting as the Data Fiduciary under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring transparent processing.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Account Data: Registration email, password hashes, and username.
  • Creator Profile Data: Display name, bio, verified status, avatar image, and banner image.
  • Content & Media: Uploaded images, videos, audio clips, and message text.
  • Payment & Transaction Metadata: Order IDs, amounts, wallet balances, transaction logs, and payout details. We do not store full credit card numbers; payment data is processed by Cashfree.
  • Device & Log Data: IP addresses, browser types, and log data.

3. Why We Process Data

We process data strictly to provide the Services: managing user accounts, authorizing access to private content, facilitating payments, preventing fraud, and resolving technical support issues.

4. Consent and Withdrawal

By creating an account, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the specified purposes. Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting support@kiteza.com. Please note that withdrawing consent may require us to terminate your account if we can no longer provide the service.

5. Data Sharing and Processors

We share data only with authorized data processors and service providers:

  • Supabase: For authentication and PostgreSQL database storage.
  • Cloudflare R2: For secure, encrypted object storage of uploaded media.
  • Firebase / Google Cloud: For hosting page application code.
  • Cashfree: For secure payment gateway transactions.
  • Email SMTP Providers: For authentication and transactional notifications.

6. Data Principal Rights

In accordance with the DPDP Act, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

  • Right to Access: Summary of your processed personal data.
  • Right to Correction & Erasure: Rectify inaccurate data or request deletion of data that is no longer necessary.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: Register complaints with our Grievance Officer at grievance@kiteza.com.
  • Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

7. Security and Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as your account remains active or as required by law. We employ industry-standard encryption, RLS policies, and secure servers to safeguard against unauthorized access or breaches.

8. Minors

Kiteza does not target or knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age. Accounts found to belong to minors will be deleted immediately.
